House Hendricks- Stonehurst Estate

Overlooking the most spectacular views of Cape Town within the Stonehurst Eco Estate, this projet brief inlcuded a family garden that celebrated its natural surroundings. Being a newbuild site, this gave us a great oportunity to start with a 'blank canvas'. The garden includes a swimming pool, jacuzzi, a small boma area and a kids corner. The road facing garden has been terraced to accomodate the existing site levels and includes a pond that frames the front etrance. The soft landscaping has been proposed in specific locations to celebrate the views while shelting the garden from the neighbours overlooking. Focus has been placed on plant species selection to ensure that we meet the Stonehurst Estate guidelines, while also ensuring the Clients get the low maintenance, pops of colour that they asked for.
