Our clients in Noordhoek gave us the ultimate garden brief; a 300sqm permaculture inspired living garden. The site is almost perfectly flat enclosed with beautiful existing trees and vegetation. Our aim is to create a livable biodiverse rich and ecofriendly garden, a garden that our clients can interact with and live off. The design decreases the existing lawn area to make space for a large permaculture vegetable and fruit garden as well as a medicinal plant garden, a green house and  raised planter boxes. We have also nestled a small boma area below the existing trees and created a large day bed. The brief also inlcuded a timber deck on the ground floor and balcony on the first floor, our aim is to utilise the vertical faces of this for further greening. We are currently in the early design phases, but watch this space as it develops..
